After the necessary premise, I find myself telling a story that in some ways is still shrouded in mystery. There story of a car built from scratch, at the request of some enthusiast, perhaps a driver, maybe some a men inside of the "Triumph Competition Department, was built as a prototype by the genius of Adriana Evans and marked DAVRIAN in a single copy. The start point was a modified Triumph Spitfire chassis, with all the Spit rear layout cut and removed and the rebuilt with full rear Hillman Imp layout. An hybrid for Evans, was the epitome of the perfect front suspension of SPIT with the perfect rear suspension of the IMP. Mechanically, it did operate a "ex factory" LE MANS Spitfire engine, with cast iron 8 ports LE MANS head, racing camshaft, forged pistons, lightened flywheel composed LE MANS genuine spares, conrods and crankshaft balanced, Vitesse all syncro gearbox. For the trasmission were considered two roads: one that included the gearbox in line with the engine (like the Spitfire) and one with the gearbox and differential with the rear transaxle layout (from Hillman Imp).
